I had a few problems applying them, probably due to my inexperience working with decals. Firstly, when peeling the backing paper some letters would come away from the top sheet and remain stuck to the backing paper. Once placed on the boat some of the letters stuck to the top sheet and came away from the surface as the top sheet was removed.
